Be aware that you will be billed at least *three* separate times for each urgent care visit: the provider fee, the hospital fee, and the facility fee, and they will each come from different sources, sometimes weeks later. Needless to say, nobody warns you about this at the visit itself. We got bills for $78, $75, and <$300 for one visit. AND they tell you to get pre-approval from your PCP because they're classified as a specialist somehow? We did that, but it's not clear it had any effect on the bill. And when you call the hospital to speak with their billing department (*not* TuftsMed), they send you to TuftsMed, who can't help you with hospital or provider fees! Love our perfect healthcare system!
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! The staff are all very nice. But Unless you want to pay extra charges along with your copay, I high suggest you avoid this place. I came here for a urgent care visit and was charged an emergency services visit. Online, at the entrance of the door, the receptionist, and the doctor all explained there is no ER here but I was somehow charged for an ER fee (??) I had to call my Tufts and my insurance MULTIPLE times and spent countless hours trying to get that remove. But there was another issue! On top being charge from Hallmark Health Urgent Care Physicians, LLC, I was charged an additional ~$150 for other services from Hallmark Health Systems. Naturally this caught me by surprise since I was not informed when checking in I would be charged separately outside
Highly recommend - the staff were so kind and courteous, and I received the X-rays I needed within 30 mins of arriving! It’s best to reserve a time slot on their website. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff!
I came into Urgent Care because my hand accidentally went though a glass window. There was no one else in the emergency room but for some reason I had to sit there bleeding out for hours before some "helped" me. I was finally called and they wrapped my arm and told me to go sit back in the waiting room to wait for an x-ray. I was called back, the tech said I needed to take off my bandage... I'm not sure she understood how an x-ray, or bleeding out works. I had to take it off and rewrap it myself because she wouldn't help me. I then was sent to sit in the waiting room some more and after a great deal of time and feeling like I was going to die the told me that they messed up taking the X-rays and they had to do it again. It had been several hours by this point and I didn't even get any sti
I called around 8:00 P.M to see if they had walk ins available and if they do Chest X Ray's. I was told yes however it's faster if you reserve an appointment online and it secures a spot. I went on the website to set an appointment. I was so amazed how everything was so easy and convenient they had a same day appointment available after 8:00 P.M and when I called to ask if I could come earlier they said come right in. I was in and out in less then a half an hour and before my original appointment time. Give credit when credit is due this team is amazing from start to finish and I must say thank you for the great service! We don't receive great service like I did anymore really so I was so happy to see a change.
