The stars I gave were for the people at the front desk and the initial staff I saw prior to seeing the doctor. The doctor himself was pretty condescending, didn't even look at the notes before speaking to me, and would interrupt me while I was asking questions. I went in because I was having issues with my eyes drying out and irritating me from a scrape I previously had across my cornea. I also agreed to a vision exam because my vision has gotten so much worse lately. I've never had 20/20 vision and have always had the need for 24/7 glasses. Upon arriving to the office I was greeted by all three of the front desk receptionists, they offered to check me in and informed me the techs and doctor would be with me shortly. At first I was worried that I was not going to visit with the doctor but after my exam, it made sense to me. The techs did the exam and asked me lots of questions that way when it was time for the doctor to see me, he would have time to visit with me about my concerns etc. The doctors are busy and if it weren't for the techs (which were all lovely and very personable) helping I don't think any of us would be able to actually see a doctor. I'm wondering if the most recent post individual and I visited the SAME "Lawrence EyeCare Associates," in Lawrence, KS? Dr. Lange has been my opthamologist for the past 6 years. She performed my cataract surgery and I have been in her care for any eye exams since that time. The facility is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Brand new, VERY efficient, incredibly clean, professional in all respects! The optical shop has VERY courteous and knowledgeable staff members ... my most recent encounter was for new frames and lens. I am TOTALLY satisfied with the products and the services.

In my experience, all of the Dr's and staff were very friendly and personable. Dr. Mulhern was polite and I appreciated that he answered all my questions and let me know what to expect with my eyes over the years to come.I got in and out of my appointment in a timely manor. The optical shop was very knowledgeable when helping me with picking out the perfect frames. All around great experience!!

Never, ever see this doctor. It was am absolute nightmare over two visits. My prior records had been sent but never consulted. My eyes were dilated and it did not subside for over 26 hours. Sales people were sluggish, indifferent and ignored me for over two hours while I sat and waited. Never acknowledged. Never spoken to, while one of these sales people spent time visiting with a presumed maintenance person. Procedures were ordered and never explained. A grid was attached to my glass lens with no explanation. A week later I returned for a further visit and the so-called "prism" was never addressed or explained. I was incensed and reacted accordingly. The facility itself is outdated with no clients/customers/patients. I can see why. There are far more modern venues and this o
