This office is disorganized, judgmental, and alarmingly irresponsible. We came three separate times for my 10-year-old child’s tooth. First visit: “It needs to be extracted.” We schedule the extraction. Next visit: “Actually, take her somewhere else — it might be saved.” That office requests X-rays. Suddenly this office flips again to “No, it needs to be extracted.” A changing treatment plan every visit isn’t care — it’s incompetence. The final visit was the worst. A staff member named Barbara was rude, condescending, and completely inappropriate. She questioned whether I had ever taken my child to a dentist, made comments about how “severely decayed” the tooth was, and responded with “what a shame” while I was explaining the situation. We were visiting from out of town over Christmas and my adult son had what turned out to be an infected tooth. We are not patients of this practice but I contacted them to try to get him seen (this was late on a Sat night). I sent a Facebook message and within minutes had a response. They called me on Sunday to set up a Monday appt. They saw him and were able to prescribe meds that provided him relief during our week of vacation and he was able to follow up with his dentist when we returned home. So appreciative of the quick response and willingness to help in a time of need. 5 stars for that reason! Thank you Lapeer Family Dental!

Was super nervous, as I am terrified of the dentist since I was a little kid. I can tell you from the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the front desk staff, Rene was my hygienist and she did amazing, super informative and very friendly. Dr. Nancy did my exam, very professional and knowledgeable. No cavities for me and huge smile on my face. Thank you for easing away my dental fears!! 😁

Let me preface this by saying I am a difficult paitent, I need a lot of reassurance and step by step knowledge of what’s going to be happening. I’ve had many wonderful experiences here specifically with Renee! Although more of the good times outweigh the bad I’ve had such bad issues with feeling like I’m listened to. I have severe anxiety and issues with being at the dentist. I had came in for a filling and had a terrible experience with the female dentist. I’m sure she does great dental work, but her bedside manner is actually embarrassing. I was appalled at the way I was spoke to. During the visit I experienced severe pain and made them stop to numb me again, when I asked if she had numbed me again she responded with “well I was going to but you keep interrupting”.
