Cardiology Consultants of East Michigan

Today was my first appt at Cardiologist Consultants and my visit was with Dr. Abdul Alawwa. Coming from another Cardiologist in the nearby area, Dr. Alawwa gave me a an easy to grasp understanding of what was going on with my heart and how it would be best to treat it. He did not talk down to me, I did not feel rushed, I felt heard - all things I did not get from my past cardiologist. After over a year of waiting to find out what was really going on with me, I finally found a great place to trust my heart care to. The receptionists as well as folks who take our info in the room - there was not one person that was rude or acting unconcerned toward me or other patients in the office. That in itself is a huge step up from my past cardiologist. So grateful to have found this place where I plan

Have had good experiences every time I’ve been there. Very knowledgeable staff and everyone always very friendly and helpful . Dr Alawwa always explains all your procedures very well and listens to everything you tell him, very friendly. Highly recommend.

My husband has never had a problem with anyone he's seen here, polite caring and very attentive to all his needs. Couldn't ask for more!

Absolutely the worst office staff. Dr Cleary is fantastic but making appointments one year in advance only to have it changed one day prior for a variety of reasons which I now know the reasons to be untrue, more than once. Come on! I moved my appointments to his flint office.

Excellent doctors but the worst schedule management I’ve experienced. Even with an early morning appointment the wait is often 2+ hours. This is a chronic problem with even longer wait times in the afternoon. This needs to be fixed.
