Lansing Urgent Care - Westside

Front desk receptionist was very rude and had little to no patience for anyone that came up to the desk because it day 3 of their new system they were learning. I got there at 9am my expected appt time was 9:15am. I completed everything online. Then I receive a text saying I missed my appt. Several people were taken back before me. I ask the receptionist about it I get told rudely we'll check when we have time and brushed off. They have several people trying to be seen. I understand that and have been waiting patiently like everyone else only to be spoken to rudely, treated like my needs were not just as important as anyone else that was there. Then was told I'd be the next taken back and someone else was called before me. I didn't get pulled back until closer to 10am. The MA that did my i

Fiance has to wait over an hour to be called back and then over an hour to be seen by a doctor with a scheduled appointment for an ear infection. Front desk had no patience or empathy for folks who approached and I feel lacked basic customer service skills. Could be forgiven as lacking staff if they weren't seemingly forgotten about and had to actively say something. Surely this isn't just growing pains with a new system, this is bordering negligence. I guess clear your schedule if you're sick because your plans or needs don't matter!

My provider Stephanie Long at the (Westside) Lansing Urgent Care was an absolute delight! I've been under the weather for almost a week and hopefully 🤞🏻 with what I found out & with the medicine I received today it will help me get on the mend! She also had an amazing upbeat attitude, she was quick and to the point. 10/10 Thank you for a great experience on a not so great day 🫶🏻

The providers and staff were all absolutely spectacular today. Special shout out to every single person I interacted with. My daughter particularly adored the woman who set up her breathing treatments. I think it was a nurse. She made the sample collection way less scary for my 5 year old. And she continuously went above and beyond to make me feel valued and seen. But every nurse, tech, and physician today was brilliant and their quick action to help care for my daughter did not go unappreciated. West side urgent care remains my favorite!

Jordan O. is always super friendly. She remembered me from awhile back at another LUC. All of the staff was so nice from the front desk, to intake to xray. Thanks for being so kind and taking care of me. I’m not even made about the shot in the booty cheek. Thanks for being an A++ in customer services and care.
