Lanier Urgent Care

Went in with some of the worst pain I’ve ever had in my life. They were extremely patient and kind to me. They were very fast when attempting to relieve my pain, and when The nurse realized I would have to go to the ER instead, She filled out some paperwork to help me get in a little bit quicker. Overall, I highly recommend this urgent care.

Even though the wait was long, the staff at this urgent care were incredibly caring and attentive. People need to understand that at times staff don’t show up to work, which makes it much harder for the team members who are there and doing their best. Patience goes a long way. It’s easy to leave a bad review, but if you were still seen and received care, that should count for something. Once I was seen, I felt listened to, treated with compassion, and well taken care of. I was very satisfied with the care I received and truly appreciate the kindness and professionalism of the staff who showed up and worked hard despite the challenges

Do not come here. I brought my mother in today and we waited over two hours in the waiting room before she was even taken back, followed by another long wait to see the doctor. This clinic is clearly being run with one single staff member that is responsible for triage, injections, X-rays, IVs, and everything else while working with two doctors. I am a NP and I would not expect any of our medical assistants to be treated this way! I was told they were extremely understaffed… I’m wondering why…. Watching and hearing one single employee BY HERSELF run nonstop saying “okay,” “one minute,” “I’m trying my best” was upsetting. Absolutely blown away by my experience at Lanier Urgent Care in Gainesville! I’m new to the area and so thankful I chose this place. I showed up at 6:58 (not realizing they close at 7), and not a single person made me feel rushed — everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. Gezelle at the front desk was an absolute gem — super friendly and helped me navigate my new insurance like a pro, amazingly kind, and even though I had a lot of questions she never got frustrated with me and was beyond kind and loving in every single way! I was called back almost immediately by Jay, who was so calm, kind, and reassuring — if you ever need blood work, ask for him! I have very difficult veins and he got it on the first try. I am extremely dissatisfied with my visit to Lanier Urgent Care. We ultimately left without being seen after waiting an hour and a half. The person at the front desk openly told us they only had one medical assistant working with two providers and apologized for the situation. What kind of facility is this? That is absolutely unacceptable and honestly disgusting to hear from a healthcare clinic. I have worked in offices like this in the past, and it is painfully clear that the staff here is being run into the ground. The front desk employee was trying incredibly hard, but they were visibly overwhelmed. I truly feel bad for anyone who works here. On top of that, the waiting room was absolutely disgusting!
