Lancaster General Health Urgent Care Parkesburg

Took my child here today for an appointment. The lady at check in had no mask on but in a nasty tone telling everyone to put a mask on as they walked in as she mumbled "I don't want to get sick". We checked in and she didn't ask for ID or anything. Every other time I have been asked for my driver license as I am bringing in a minor child. Wait time to be taken back was very short. I expressed my issue about the lady at the desk and the nurse apologized, our nurse did an excellent job collecting information about my child and very patient. I was told I could check my child's portal for test results they will be posted there before they would call me. I told her results would be back in a few days, this is 2026 as a medical facility why are they not doing rapid test results? As other places

Made a reservation for 7pm on Monday evening, thinking I had a bad ankle sprain. The desk staff were so kind and helpful and I was seen by 7:15. PA Brooke Johnson was wonderful and so very nice - an excellent bedside manner and was sympathetic when telling me my ankle was broken. She explained everything thoroughly and answered all of my questions . X-Ray staff also very good. If ever urgent care is needed again, I will not hesitate to use Penn LGH, for me or my family.

I’m absolutely appalled with this place! Took my daughter there on Tuesday because i was concerns with the sound of her lungs and possible pneumonia. The PA did not listen to me ( a Nurse mind you ) that I wanted a chest x-ray done. He just “listened” said she was fine and sent us on our way. 2 days later my daughter is still fighting the fever that keeps bouncing between 102°-103° and he lungs sound terrible!!!!! Now in the ER waiting for the chest x-ray that should have been taken on Tuesday. This is not the first time I’ve had issues with this place either

The difference between the urgent care and their PCP and Lab Services is embarrassing for LGH. The reviews are true: disinterested nursing and practicing staff. Rushed examinations. I won’t return and will encourage others to be wary. Reception staff is wonderful, I feel sorry that they have to work with these miserable providers all day.

My14 year old grandson was in waiting room. While I went back with daughter and younger grandson! Nurse opened door and said the 14 year old couldn't wait by himself.She wasn't very nice about it either! If you don't like your job maybe you should look else where! She was not very professional at all! He was sitting there not doing a damn thing but being quiet! They really pissed me off with that! I am a nurse and wanted to be in there so my daughter understood what they were saying. WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN!!!
