Lady's Island Medical Center

Dr Edwards and NP Hastings were great! I even like Tracy, at the front desk. However, outside of them I never saw the same person twice. High turnover and Nurses who couldn't seem to care less. I can see why the doctors left! Now that they are gone, so am I!! The new girl at the front desk is just rude. You get more empathy from an urgent care!

Just straight up sad.......I have left 3 messages in the last 7 days with no return call. I wish I could say it was unusual but actually seems to be standard operating procedure. I truly like Dr. Mersberger, but the office staff either doesn't care or are incompetent, or both. I loved Pam Edwards and Allison Hastings and the old office folks.

I have been a patient at this office since it first opened. In the last few months its has been extremely hard to get an appointment. Today 3/23/21, I made an appt online for April 15th and received a phone call stating that the appt wasn't good that the soonest I could come in for an acute appt was May 27th. I explained that I was having problems with my blood sugar but the person wasn't interested stating that she can put me on the cancelation list. I explained again about my blood sugars and she didn't care. I am leaving this office because their lack of concern for their patients. Care here is terrible. I don't recommend this practice at all.

My recent visit to Dr, Edwards was, as usual, exceptional, professional, personal, and warmly greeted by her staff and of course by her. She has that certain quality of giving the best of professional care along with that personal touch that means so very much to patients, a rarity nowadays, I am extremely happy and satisfied with Dr Edwards and her staff and would recommend her to anyone. It took me 5 weeks to get blood work results back, and only got them after I went in to pick them up (even when they told me earlier that day they didn't have them yet) to find out they got them back within 3 days of getting the blood work. Every time I call to talk to someone, they treat me like i'm a moron. I called to make an appointment and they argued with me about being seen and told me I would have to be in Pain without being able to move my wrist because they wouldn't see me. Then she hung up on me while I was mid-sentence asking when I could schedule the next appointment. The staff is always rude. Loved the doctor, just can't deal with the staff.
