La Colonia Medical Center - Tamarac

I can only speak for the Tamarac location, which is where my mother is treated. Every single employee and doctor is not only very professional, but also courteous, friendly, kind and patient. They listen to the individual needs and are also very organized. I am very thankful for how they treat my mother.I know this because either my cousin or I always go with her.

They have really nice attentive staff. However one major drawback I have seen, is the constant referrals to Doctors in South Miami. Their patients are seniors. Yes, they send a car, but that car is shared by several other patients with appointments. That means for a 10:00 a.m. appointment, the elderly patient is picked up at 7 a.m. After the appointment sometime after 11:30 or 12:00 if lucky, means a shared ride back with those same patients is well around 3:00 p.m. in the afternoon. This was and continues to be the experience my elderly Mother has had with these south Miami Dr. referral appointments. She is left frazzled by the whole experience. That means no food that day, till she gets home. Not ok, they need to change or improve that. There are other capable specialists in Broward co

The Tamarac Medical Center is an excellent place that provides quality medical services and has staff who provide unique care.

It's getting to be A lot busier now. Always have to wait approximately 2 hours to get into any Doctor. And they keep Screwing up the appointments. The people are very friendly and my mom is Happy with her doctors

My Mom goes to this Center, and I always go with her...Everyone treats you like family... I appreciate everyone who cares for my Mom.. I recommend this place to all... THANK YOU La Colonia Sra.Medina
