La Colonia Medical Center - Pembroke Pines

Today the took my 88 years old mother in law Mercedes for a Lab work an instead of taking her home like they suppose she was dropped in a Day Care as she requested with another lady. When we did not see her on the house we start calling and they were not aware of her location (she has Dementia and Alzheimer') they know her condition. They very unresponsable and at the Front Desk they even had the courage of blaming on us because we were not there. We request the transportation why they can't follow the instruction. Blind leading the Blind.

Drivers not paying attention and almost causing accidents!!

I have to rate this place and I believe one star is one to many. This clinic is trying to handle more patients than what is capable. Their front staff personnel is rude and unprofessional, with a total lack of empathy or care for the sick and they should be replaced by a more qualified team. I am looking for another clinic in the area for my father. Please avoid this place if you care for your love ones. No need for a reply from the PR team, nothing you say could make it any better, your clinic is negligent.

I drive through this plaza every day and it breaks my heart to see the lack of safety measures for the elderly patients. The La Colonia trucks often block the entire right side of the road, so anyone driving cannot see when patients are coming out. You often have to slam on the brakes because the La Colonia trucks block your visibility. It's also really dangerous to have elderly patients cross the road in this busy plaza to reach the entrance of the clinic. It would be better if the entrance was in the back of the building.

Terrible! Start treating your patients like people and not customers. They took away my dad's blood pressure medication in exchange for a cheaper version which took him to the hospital in the past. The Healthcare system in this country sucks!
