The store is absolutely beautiful and has a cozy vibe! It smells amazing when you walk in and the service is so knowledgeable and welcoming! I wasn’t expecting to buy but walked out of that rain 2 pairs of glasses. I’m excited I got one transitional one! It’s a must visit! They have a variety of glasses and great selections from designer brands as well as their own!

Streamlined and fantastic experience at the newly opened location by Dr. Visanji and team. I was a previous customer when she was at Zak, so I was happy to see her move to a convenient location near public transportation (closer to me 👏🏼) and design/open her own space with a clean aesthetic. I had no idea when I made the appointment of the grand opening. The store has tech forward eye imaging tools that I enjoyed previously (e.g. Nikon machine and I’m a photographer), with the new addition of a console to control the lenses in the traditional “cover one eye” tests. It helped with an accurate eye exam, which helped correct a bad prescription I had at another optometrist, which was too strong and strained my eyes. I didn’t purchase glasses like I did last time, but I could see in the shelf

Tucked away near the heart of the financial district is a cozy eyeglass shop called Kuona. Needing to update my prescription and in the market for some jazzy frames, I decided to give this place a shot, and I was not disappointed. Kuona offers the full boutique experience, which was a welcomed change from the commercial eyeglass shops strewn across NYC. Jessica, the optician, was with me every step of the way, making sure all my questions were answered and offering me tips and guidance on picking the best frames that suit my proportions.. and my budget! Sophia, the optometrist, really dialed in my prescription, breaking down my eye health in a way I've seldom heard from an optometrist before.. she was throrough yet gentle. After visiting Kuona, I'm not so sure I can go back to the those

Dr Visanji and her assistant Jessica were professional, friendly, and super helpful when it came to every aspect of my visit. I also picked small frames with a progressive lens and they were probably the best progressives I’ve ever had. Perfectly measured, and positioned. I didn’t have any issues getting used to them - even after being without my glasses for several months.
