Kroger Pharmacy

This used to be a very good pharmacy but it has gone downhill quickly. I don't know how much of it has to do with the quality of the company as a whole vs. the employees of this specific pharmacy, but over the past few months I haven't had a single positive experience here. Once, I was notified that my prescription was ready only to get there and be told they "can't find it", which I understand can be a system issue possibly (it wasn't, they just weren't looking on a lower rung of the pick up area). But the worst experience for me was one I had with one of the pharmacists. I had been prescribed a medicine I'd never taken before, so when I was asked if I had questions for the pharmacist I said yes. This pharmacist was in my eyeline and I literally watched them hear that I said yes and

Most atrocious, rude pharmacist I've ever encountered. Refuse to fill a prescription without a DEA number (which is not required for the medication being filled). When I let her know that all that is required is my license number, she then told me to "call the medication into another facility because she's not dealing with this" and hung up on me. Unprofessional and rude. Happily reported her to the pharmacy board.

I came in last week to pickup meds and the wait was exceeding long. All members behind the pharmacy counter moved slow and didn’t acknowledge the customers waiting… no thanks for your patience or I’ll be right with you. Once I finally got to the counter I was told that they hadn’t prepared it and they would call when it’s ready later that day. I didn’t receive a call until late yesterday. I come in today and the Asian guy whose name starts with a T was very bland and threw my bag and receipt at me and walked away once I closed out. Horrible customer service!

Completely makes sense why the rating for this location is what it is. My doctor called in my prescription and I followed up to confirm it was received and then also confirm the time the prescription would be ready. I was told 10 AM. It is 330, I am at the location and is nonchalantly told that the prescription is not ready and the pharmacist will get to it after vaccinations. No empathy. No regard. It says if I’m early… Make it make sense. Then asked me to take a seat and they will get me an update… I would’ve appreciated an update before I got here if you were behind. I understand things happen, but it doesn’t help when the people that work there, have zero empathy. This is my first and last time filling at Kroger. I will stick to CVS. At least at CVS I get updates when they are delayed

Kroger is my favorite grocery store. I love the prices and the employees are very nice and helpful!!
