My experience with my recent surgery was terrific! My surgeon,Dr Gregory Landry was once again outstanding. This was my 3rd surgery by him, and I have appreciated his skill and efficiency each time. His staff is caring and efficient as well. My post-op care in the PAC Unit was outstanding as well, and I was blessed to be cared for by Jesse Anderson, by my request, again. Sadly, what I was advised by the intake person during multiple conversations was not what actually happened during my 5 hour stay in the hospital. I was not being heard by the staff even though I kept repeating my concerns. I advised of my by mouth medication limitations due to chronic gastritis. Oral meds trigger the gastritis which is highly painful and anxiety inducing. I also advised that I am highly sensitive to new medications which was not acknowledged as well. They proceeded to give me a new medication orally and I had a very adverse reaction causing immediate nausea and vomiting after I had just eaten. I felt severely ill which ended up lasting 3 full days. I called my husband to come and get me so I could suffer with him beside me. I did not feel heard or safe during my t

It was comfortable, no waiting...sure beats shoshone all to hell...the doctors there think they are #1 and you have to wait, while they do nothing ,while you suffer and wait, they know nothing....for gothe only thing i wasnt happy with is that i never seen my doctor after surgery, dr. French, it would of been nice of him to tell me what was what...thank you dr. French and team for taking good care of me...truth is all about the money!

My stay at Kootenai Health was enjoyable. If I needed anything and pushed the call button. Someone was right there to help. Everyone was so nice and friendly. I recommend Kootenai Health for your needs.

I recently had the occasion to visit the Kootenai Medical Center. I had an accident which required me to have an unexpected surgery several hours after arriving. The care was excellent and all my caregivers were professional and kind. I would recommend Kootenai Medical Center to anyone and give it the highest reviews. I hope I personally do not have to utilize the services anytime too soon in the future, wonderful though they were..
