Had a very good first experience with the cardiology department, and Joel Rhyner. He was friendly and he explained everything to me thoroughly including all possible future treatment. His assistant Bo was kind and let me know what to expect and verified what they were going to do next. Reception staff helpful and friendly.

First visit went very well. After, a broken neck, a bout with cancer and then endocarditis. I’ve seen my share of doctors. Although , I was blessed with some great Doctors. Unfortunately many of them, wanted you out asap, in order to move on to the next patient . So, with that being said. It was nice to go to an office, where I didn’t feel like I was on a conveyor belt. Where I spent more time in the waiting room, than talking to a doctor. Natalie, was very thorough and, actually took the time to answer all of my questions. She also came up with a plan to help my body heal properly. Very welcoming and professional. I’m actually looking forward to my next appointment

They ran some blood tests, did a chest xray and ekg because I came in with high blood pressure, shakes, and random sensations in my neck and chest. Also the sides of my neck were swollen. They pretty much shrugged said they didn’t know and walked me out with a blood pressure of 172/107. No prescriptions, no attempt to lower my blood pressure and a general attitude of apathy from the doctor I’m glad I took pictures and documented this.

Sam Devore: Initially I was shocked me at his youth but that quickly disappated while speaking with him. I had another youthful PA there a few years ago that was impressive so I won't discount Sam. I have a follow up appointment, so ask me again, maybe I can supply the solid 10 once we have more experience together. For now, I have full confidence in his abilities and due diligence in consulting a licensed physician and performing the applicable research as warranted for my condition.

A little over a week ago, I had a health emergency. From the 911 call to my discharge, I received excellent care. Dr. Owens was great. He is a good doctor, great communicator, and attended to all my needs with the consulting support of a specialist from Virginia Mason. The entire staff were very professional and, like I said, I got good care. I am recovering well and appreciate all that they did for me.
