Kindred Hospital Westminster

Our family will always be grateful to Kindred Hospital Westminster for the compassion and humanity they showed my father in his final days. One moment in particular will stay with us forever. The patient advocate, Claudia Galindo, personally ensured my Dad received a new bed when she promised it would arrive and it came just before midnight on New Year’s Eve. After everything he had endured this past year, that comfort meant more than words can express. We were able to spend his final New Year's Eve with him peacefully — with fireworks in the sky outside his window and the illuminated Jesus statue below. It was calm, grounding and truly beautiful. If there were such a category as.a "Lifetime Achievement Award" at Kindred Hospital, one name stands out: Hamed. Note that.I did not list his last name because he is Hamed to me. I have been here for over five weeks. I have been in five rooms on two separate floors. Hamed just seems to "find me" regardless of where I am. He looks for problems to be solved, whether it is changing a bedpan, cleaning up, getting water and ice, or whatever. While most all the nurses here are very good, Hamed is excellent at his craft. Plus he is a very likable guy. ;

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Hamed Benrouha, the CNA who has been taking care of my husband at Kindred hospital Westminster. During what has been a very stressful and emotional time for our family, Hamed has been a steady source of comfort, compassion, and professionalism. He treats my husband with genuine kindness and respect, always making sure he is comfortable and well cared for. Hamed is attentive to his needs, quick to respond, and incredibly patient. He never makes us feel rushed and always takes the time to explain what he’s doing, which brings so much reassurance. We are very thankful for him!

My mother is currently at this hospital and it has been a great experience for her and also for her family. Everyone is so kind and very attentive to my mother and her needs. But even more than this the Patient Advocate Claudia has truly been wonderful to us. Anytime I was upset or had an issue she was always there and would drop whatever she was doing to either help me or call someone who was able to. This has all been extremely difficult on our family but it is people like Claudia who make things not as difficult and that is appreciated. The Lenahan Family

I’ll start with the good things first. The only good part of our experience during my wife’s stay where first the Patient Advocate, Claudia, who is an angel, and couple of CNA’s, Hamed and Julie Cava. My wife suffered from TBI and had been in Coma for 1.5 months before they transferred her from Providence Mission to Kindred on January 7, 26 against our wish. Right from the start Claudia showed her full support and how she cares for patients like they are her own. I can clearly say that couple of time she saved my wife’s life and for that I will be in her debt for the rest of my life. She was always available when I needed her to push other staff to do their jobs even when she was not feeling well. God bless her.
