Kids Start Pediatrics

I hate to be that girl first time mom here my daughter has been going here every since she was born in 2018 and every time that I take her here the doctor always charge her symptoms to allergies and that is all that he ever prescribed her there’s a mass on my daughters neck And very enlarge and every time I asked the doctor to look into it he only prescribes the allergy medicine. I went to his office. It hurts her, and he did nothing. All he ever done was check her ears. and prescribe the medicine unfortunately, now my daughter has to do surgery because I went to specialist. They recommended me to another pediatric find a really serious problem within my daughter’s neck. A problem that this pediatric doctor could’ve found from the first time whenever it comes down to making an appointment,

I can’t never get them on the phone it always can’t be completed as dial or just rings a couple times and then say call fail

I hate to write this bad review because I actually LOVED this office and the staff up until now!!! I’ve been calling for the past 3 months trying to schedule my daughter her appointment (physical) for back to school, I was informed Dr Melamed was out do to a severe surgery “UNDERSTANDABLE”!! But was told to call back the end of May called back then was told call back the end of July called back in July was told to callback the end of July only to get told to callback again the ending of July that’s when they will be accepting appointments only to callback and receive the voicemail!! They could have just informed all their patients ahead of time so we could have properly prepared to look into getting appointments elsewhere knowing school was starting back!! If you were looking for the perfect place you’re never gonna find it searching through reviews. My daughter has been going here since she was a few days old. Dr. Melmed has always made sure that she was healthy and secure. I honestly couldn’t ask for a better doctor. You guys he honestly cares, and does his due diligence. Nurses are helpful and they do what needs to be done. So if you’re concerned on if the toys your kid plays with are clean, bring your own. Or keep your kids occupied with something educational. I love this pediatrician.

If you care about your kids DO NOT take them here. They never have appointments and now they have a new thing that they take appointments same day but are all booked up at 930. You also can not schedule ahead so it’s very frustrating. They have the longest lunch break I have ever seen but claim to be booked solid.I had to take my baby to the ER because they are quote on quote to full. The environment has always felt dirty the ladies in front are rude and I just got to the point were it is time to move on. Do you and your children a favor look somewhere else not worth the headache
