Keystone Dental Care

I don’t know what the other reviews are talking about, I’ve seen Dr. Shockley for a long time and he’s never been anything but patient and kind and this is coming from some highly anxious about dental work. I also love his staff very much. I drive all the way from Gainesville to see him.

Let me start off by saying all of this office staff is exceptional, They returned my phone calls promptly. They were extremely compassionate and kind. However, I am unable to say the same about Dr. Shockley. I was seen for a broken molar, he didn’t introduce himself. He just sat down and started sticking his hands in my mouth, I asked him to please explain what he was doing. He became extremely irritated and offended and left the exam room after 30 seconds. His assistant then came back in and handed me a piece of paper and said he has referred you to someone else, he would not come back in. He would not discuss anything with me. He just moved onto the next person. My Husband has had pretty good luck with him however he’s not afraid of the dentist and doesn’t ask any questions, I guess when

I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Shockley for a few months and really enjoyed the experience. He’s a great choice for anyone looking for a reliable, long-term family dentist. His work is excellent, and his team, though small, creates a welcoming and comfortable environment. I look forward to working with him again!

My 10 YO had cavities to fill. The first two visits went well he had some pain second visit and he just gave him another shot waited and it went fine.The third visit my son calmly raised his hand and said hey this hurts. The Dr. Shockley looked visibly aggravated by this but gave him another shot. He didn’t give it time before drilling again. I tried to calm my son down and say it’s okay it’s almost done and he goes “ no I’m not haven’t even started yet”. He had an agitated tone. Then my son was like my gums and cheek are numb my tooth isn’t it hurts when you begin to drill. He then tells my son I haven’t even drilled through the enamel like he was lying about pain. My son has a pretty high pain tolerance. My son goes to ask him a question and he says “ no questions I’m putting stuff on yo

Dr. Shockley and his staff have been taking care of my family's dental care for over ten years and I worked for him for six years. Honest and clear in his communication and conservative in his approach. Of course, I love his staff- they have been with him for years which says a lot about the practice and atmosphere. Great family dentistry in my home town- so good I make the hour plus drive to continue in their excellent care.
