Kent Hospital

Worst hospital in RI! I have never had a good experience here, not once! I would never choose this hospital ever, but my friend was taken by ambulance there today. The staff at Kent are rude and unprofessional and no one could give me one update on my friends condition and told me to go home, to Narragansett , and someone would call me..no one called and my friend was discharged with no diagnosis after being seen for chest pain and no info on any of his test results, then they refused to give me any info even after my friend told them I'm his only emergency contact...at one point he said his nurse told him to stop breathing do heavy near her! And then she ripped his iv out and he couldn't stop bleeding from it. THE WORST HOSPITAL! it's quite scary.

Went in for stomach pains that was so bad I couldn't breathe or stand up, I was literally on the floor and and they put me in the waiting room for 2hrs! Knowing I'm in pain and was the only person around other people came and they took them 1st! While I'm still here in pain! I asked a nurse with blond hair if i knew her name i would put it but anyways asked how much longer it would b and she got very rude and basically ask if I was dying or if my throat was swelling and basically told me to deal w it you'll b fine!....like really worst hospital and treatment ever! 0 stars to b honest!

Had surgery here in October 2021 and was left to suffer in pain. When I asked for pain meds after a recent surgery I was ignored. Asked to speak to the charge nurse she never came. I was in the hospital alone and did not have anyone to advocate for me after my surgery and I was in too much pain to even talk for myself. I am a nurse myself and I have no history to indicate med seeking behaviors. If you want compassionate nursing care after surgery do not go here.

I will never go there again. The emergencyroom is horrible, I was throwing up dry heaving and they come in and yell me to QUITE DOWN? The nurses were kind once i got to my room. I'm up for a liver transplant and that's how they treat you? I have to have my gallbladder out very soon. Again I will never go there again EVER.
