This was my first visit to Dr. Tway's office is very clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and compassionate. One is asked to wait outside and they will come let you in, take your temperature and then all the regular stuff, fill out forms, make next appointment etc... On a High Note they have reduced the amount of paper they use. All of your info you enter on a Tablet, which they wipe clean with approved alcohol wipes. Unlike any other Doctors Office I have been to, I was checked in and sat down and only waited about 10 minutes to have my vitals taken and only 5 minutes more to see Doctor Tway. Dr. Tway is one of the best most experienced cardiologist in SLO - proven by the fact that he is very popular with my friends. He takes time to evaluate you and gives different recommendations including natural paths to healing my heart. His staff are patient and very helpful with my medical records.

I hate to say anything negative. The doctor saved my mom’s life in 1979. The good reviews must have been written years ago. Dr Tway was once a great doctor but now it would benefit him to retire.

Dr Tway and all the staff are nice and helpful when you are in the office...but trying to get the administrative part of the practice to work I have found to be frustrating and impossible. I was applying for life insurance which required some documentation from Dr. Tway's office. The insurance company contacted them many times and I did as well. After several months, they info was never provided with no explanation as to why. When I call, I am told they will "try" to get it done, but nothing ever happens. My life insurance application which took an in home exam and many other steps, was discontinued because they can't get the needed information sent from Dr. Tway's office. Now I have to start the whole process over...but it won't do any good since I have no reason to think that the
