Keefe Hand Therapy

I started meeting with Sharon Keefe about six weeks after I had tendon transfer surgery on my left thumb. I saw her twice a week for eight weeks. Sharon is a great hand therapist. She’s very professional and knowledgeable. She is also patient and friendly. Over the time she was treating me, I made good progress, and now, my hand and thumb are able to do nearly everything I could do before the injury that resulted in the surgery. I am still working on building up my hand strength, but because of the clear instructions that Sharon gave me, I am able to continue on my own at home. My experience with Sharon was outstanding.

I loved going to Sharon for therapy. She made my arm feel a lot better, not only did she do a great job but she makes you feel real comfortable. I felt like I was talking to an old friend rather than a therapist for my arm pain. She takes the CDC's guidelines very seriously, she's always wiping down things her clients come in contact with and makes sure you are wearing your mask and sanitized. I would definitely recommend her to anyone. Thanks Sharon for being such a caring therapist.

There is nobody I would trust more with hand/ finger rehabilitation than Sharon Keefe. After a traumatic accident and surgery to repair damages to my index finger and thumb (partial amputation and severed tendons) my recovery required rehab with a OT specifically a CHT (Certified Hand Therapist). Sharon was professional and understanding of the degree of the injury and her positivity for progress was reassuring from the beginning. I always felt during my appointments that my rehab was 100% the focus as she walked me through the importance of doing each exercise correctly. I am fortunate that I was able to keep my fingers but the luck that I will always be grateful for is being placed in the rehabilitating care of Sharon Keefe. I just had the final checkup with my surgeon and she was very pleased with the progress I have made through the therapy I did with Sharon Keefe. I had surgery for thumb arthritis on December 12, 2018, and did therapy visits with Sharon once or twice a week from December 26, 2018, through February 22, 2019. She was thorough in her examinations and exercise routines and fun to work with throughout the process. I highly recommend her services.

Have "graduated" from Occupational Therapy after breaking my wrist. Sharon was very accommodating to my request that the sessions times were close to my Physical therapy times. She accessed my wrist issues and determined what I needed to get my wrist to start working after 6 weeks in a cast. Very gentle, explains everything well and provides at home exercises so I can continue to improve.
