I don't like to leave unpleasant reviews, but don't promise and underdeliver, especially as an OBGYN. Overall, subpar experience visiting Dr. Kwok and her office a handful of times, including 2 miscarriages. As someone who has a history of endocervical polyps, she mentioned how she can easily remove a polyp that she saw at a consult but wanted to wait until my pregnancy progressed. Few weeks later, I experienced my second miscarriage, and while I don't fault her for what happened, I called to schedule a polypectomy. I'm told that I have to have another consult THEN schedule another appointment to remove the polyp, which she mentioned would be easy and quick to remove. I don't want to make assumptions that this is for their office to make money by scheduling unnecessary appointments, but l

I went to Dr. Kwok for 6 years but not once I thought she cared about patients. During the 1st year, I got the feeling that Dr. Kwok only cared about money but I stayed with her since it was so hard to find a new doctor and I was only seeing her once a year anyway. When she was giving me options for contraception, I asked about IUD and her answer was "I don't do IUDs for HMO patients." I've recently found that I have an ovarian cyst that wasn't showing up on ultrasound. When it was first found a few years ago, it was bigger and Dr.Kwok told me we will monitor it but it must have shrunk in size. Rude customer service, front desk representatives. I called an inquired of my insurance would be covered. I mentioned I had Cigna HMO I wasn't 100 percent sure if I had an HMO or a PPO. They informed no HMO is accepted. They are unable to check (CIGNA portal). They told me to call the back of my card and disconnected the line. I called back to to get more information and spoke with Vivian still very much rude and she might have been the same person who disconnected the line on me. Looking for a OGBYN and this definitely not the type of service I would want to receive as a client. Reps are the frontlines of your office and not very friendly.

I have been seeing Dr. Kwok for a while now and I called today and spoke with a Becky who was very rude, did not say anything except for "hello" . She didn't introduce herself or the office she was with, so I was not comfortable with sharing information like my date of birth with her. When I asked for her name she told me it was Becky and proceeded to ask for my date of birth. I let her know she was very rude and she put me on hold. Not once did she apologize. Another receptionist got on the phone and she was a little nicer. Stating that Becky was covering for her while she was out to lunch. Maybe they should have gotten someone else to cover for her? Dr. Kwok is great herself but the people she hires to work for her are horrible. I am not sure if it is Dr. Kwok that is hiring or an office

NO bedside manner, emotional intelligence or knowledge in fertility For the past year, all Kwok has done is guess what potential issues could be with no testing or proof, causing stress. She'll then forget everything she said in the next appointments and never follow up on it again. When I tried to remind her what we had discussed she made a point to mention this was NOT a fertility visit so we cannot discuss what she left me stressing about in the last appointment and hurried me out. I had to bring PICTURES for her to take my concerns seriously and when I mentioned I felt it took a long time to get to this conclusion, her response was “i just met you.” Both the doctor and staff are immature and have horrible attitudes and tempers. Do not come here if you’re trying to get pregnant. Al
