I have nothing but positive things to say about WHSP. From the very first interaction, Abbie and the front desk team have been exceptional in coordinating my care seamlessly and efficiently. Dr. Ackerman and her PA, Katie, are not only incredibly knowledgeable and thorough, but also accessible and genuinely invested in their patients. I was truly impressed to spend a full 60 minutes with my care team—something that feels increasingly rare in healthcare today. Having bloodwork done in-house made the process even more streamlined and patient-centered. As a female athlete navigating recurrent bone stress injuries/RED-s, coordinating care across sports medicine, endocrinology, nutrition, and other specialties can be overwhelming and exhausting—especially when repeatedly explaining your case.

Dr. Kathryn Ackerman and the entire team at WHSP Medical are beyond amazing. Dr. Ackerman has provided outstanding care to my entire family for over a decade. She treated my eldest daughter for a rowing-related back injury, my second daughter for patellofemoral syndrome from soccer, and my son for a labrum tear in his shoulder from lacrosse. I have been working with WSHP for the last 3 months since moving to Massachusetts and I'm beyond happy that I have come across such caring medical facility. The entire staff is welcoming and truly care about your wellbeing. I have never been managed by an entire woman healthcare team, but I definitely feel cared for any time I stop by the office. Dr. Ackerman is incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and overall a great provider. I personally love the east coast personality and do not do well with being babied.
