Jupiter Medical Center Urgent Care

Earlier that day, I had visited MD Now, where I waited for nearly an hour after submitting my insurance information, only to be told that there was an issue and they could not accept it. It wasn’t their fault, but it was incredibly frustrating. When I arrived at Jupiter Medical Center, I spoke with Myra and explained what had happened. I asked if she could please check whether my insurance would be accepted before I sat down to wait. Without hesitation, she spent about 15 minutes looking into it for me, going through multiple steps to make sure she had all the correct information. Eventually, she let me know that there were complications, and I decided to leave. About 10 minutes later, while I was already on my way home, I received a call from Myra. I have been here twice, and I am truly grateful for how courteous and professional every staff member has been — from the intake person, to the person taking my vitals, to the nurse practitioner. During my most recent visit, the nurse practitioner, Theo, took the time to explain in detail both my medical situation and the medications being prescribed. Because I have an autoimmune disorder that may be affecting my condition, he carefully explained possible connections that I did not previously know. He also discussed options moving forward, including the possibility of seeing a specialist depending on my test results. Theo was extremely knowledgeable, and I felt confident in his expertise. I am genuinely grateful for the quality of care and the staff they have here.

I visited this urgent care today and everyone was excellent. I especially would like to commend Brad, the PA who was so kind, respectful and patient with me as well as the med tech and X-ray technician as well as all of the lovely ladies at the reception. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Very appreciative and grateful. Bravo and happy holidays!

Would not go here again. They tell you when you are getting registered that if you are self pay that if you pay $550 up front the cost of the entire visit is covered any medications administered, the room fee, anything like MRI or ultrasounds, blood work any lab work ECT is paid in full. However you will receive a bill in the mail for over 600$ and when you call the billing department and tell them what you were told they send your bill from review and try to add extra money onto it. Example I was sent a bill for 614$ and then they updated the bill to $832. Illegal. Do not go here. Go to a real hospital that is reputable and honest.

TERRIBLE HORRIFIC DO NOT GO HERE! I went to this location 3 times and all 3 visits were horrible Receptionists Mylinda and Belinda both extremely rude and condescending Wait times were hours Wayne, an African American X-ray tech was soooo slow it was comical I needed blood tests and he couldn't find a vein sticking me several times before calling another PA Last time I was there Thursday 12/18 I was first patient 8:00 am for chest X-ray PA told me she would call me with results 7 hours later no call just an email with MY CHART with NO X-rays included nor forwarded to my DR Although a couple of PAs were decent, receptionists both very rude to me and my husband and general service HORRENDOUS!
