I came to Jovia after thinking my thumb injury was a lost cause. I hyper-extended my thumb but didn't see it fully heal even after waiting 3 months. Emi took a look, recommended some more rest with a brace and some exercises. 2 months later it feels almost as good as new. Thanks Emi!

I had severe pain in one of my hands just behind the wrist. The nerve pinching was debilitating, making it very difficult for me to work at my desk job. I consulted Emi to help with the pain and, with just one phone call without even seeing me, she was able to diagnose the cause of the issue and suggest a stretching technique that instantaneously alleviated the nerve pain and inflammation. It's a stretch that I've incorporated into my daily routine at work and use it at least once or twice a day to help manage my pain and stiffness. If you have similar hand or wrist issues, she's the perfect occupational therapist to consult!

I came to Emi start having my first child. I had developed Mommy Thumb and carpal tunnel, and I was in a lot of pain with major loss in range of motion. The sessions were timely, and she is very personable. Within a couple months, I was back to normal! I still use and recommend the techniques that she used - including the paraffin wax and wet heating pad. I even use the cream she uses for massage to this day. 🤣 She is more than amazing! Highly recommend.

Emi is not only an amazing hand therapist, she is a teacher and problem solver. I was in excruciating pain when I went to see her and could not grip anything in my right hand. She provided manual therapy, which helped tremendously, but also spent a lot of time teaching me how to move properly in my daily life. I am so thankful to Emi for helping me create healthy habits!
