John R. Caruso MD, FACS

I do not want to speak negatively on Dr. Caruso nor his two PA’s because I have actually worked with them and they do a great job. My problem is with his office. I can understand maybe a minor mistake but there have been multiple situations that have been frustrating. Rescheduling appointments without asking just basically telling you “hey gotta cancel you for this day”. Like okay?? Like me just rearrange my entire schedule for you that I already REARRANGED to accommodate prior apportionment. Some of us have multiple jobs and cannot just drop everything to reschedule a new appointment. Also, this is someone’s life and their pain that is at the mercy of other people. It is not something that should be messed with or taken lightly.

Dr. Caruso and his entire staff are awesome. I suffered for yrs from back pain. It took me 10 yrs to find a good family doctor who would take me seriously about the pain I was in. He ran test and found issues with my back of course. I tried multiple rounds of physical therapy, Injections, nerve burning, multiple doctors. I found Dr Caruso threw some research of my own. 2 yrs after being diagnosed Dr Caruso did my back surgery. I had a inter body fusion in my L4 L5. My surgery was done in September of 2017. I'm so happy I got this surgery done by Dr. Caruso it's the first time in about 12 yrs I had any kind of relief. I have been pain free for 4 yrs. With the exception of my arthritis. I highly recommend Dr. Caruso and his entire staff. Thank you Dr Caruso, Stephanie Hamrick, and staff. I r

I had a tumor that grew around my nerve inside my knee that no other doctor wanted to touch it. The first time I saw Dr. Caruso he said, not a issue I'll fix you right up. I haven't had any issues since. That was 2018. I totally trust Dr. Caruso and his staff is amazing.

I have had spinal problems for two years. For the past year I have had drop foot. I have gone through surgery, two rounds of physical therapy, a nerve conduction study by a neurologist who gave me the name of Dr. Caruso. I have waited almost two months for an appointment. It was supposed to be Thursday. Today, Tuesday, the office called to cancel it. They could not give me one until thr middle of October. This type of thing is happening too many times with doctor appointments. The doctors are becoming so independent, self centered and could care less for their patients ! This thing of cancelling and giving a patient an appointment months away is ridiculous! The same thing happened to my wife yesterday with an office. The earlist appointment she could get is in December. There is something

Dr Caruso has been great in taking care of my spine issue, resolving all the pain I had been in thru my hip & leg, that was a lil over 2 years ago. He preformed a level 3 fusion on my neck & upper back making me pain free for the first time in 10 years. His staff are courteous, professional & friendly.
