The front desk staff and the gentleman who conducted the testing (Elberth) were courteous, professional, and attentive throughout my visit. I previously underwent LASIK surgery with another physician. After evaluating my situation, Dr. Josephson recommended performing corrective surgery on only one eye. To help determine whether this approach would improve my vision, he provided me with a single contact lens to trial at home. Unfortunately, I did not experience improved vision and was unable to drive home without my glasses. However, I did find the contact lens itself to be very comfortable. As a former LASIK patient, I have found it difficult to locate contact lenses that fit comfortably, so this was particularly noteworthy to me. My mom had a very severe cataract that not every ophthalmologist could treat. Dr. Josephson performed the cataract surgery on her last year, and the results were outstanding. My mom mentioned that she has never been able to see this clearly before and is extremely pleased with the outcome. Thank you very much, Dr. Josephson.

If you need to get an eye surgery you can get it anywhere . But if you need a professional surgery with care and kindness from all the staff at the center starting from Dr John who clearly explained to you your conditions and what need to be done to the nurses , the finance staff who will do whatever needed to help you with your payment to the nurse who is holding your hands during the surgery to the phone call of Dr John the night of your surgery to make sure that you are ok . If you need to get my experience you just need to go to Dr John Josephson and they will take excellent care of you . Although the surgeon has completed his job but his billing department has not. Husband has cataract surgery on one eye with Dr Josephson on January 31. On 1/31, when checking into Reston Surgical Center, we were charged for the artificial lens, because we were told the artificial lens was provided by the Surgical Center. Wait!!! Then we were double-billed for the lens, because we have already paid more than $3k, which was claimed to be the price of the lens, to the surgeon’s office months before the surgery took place. Again, my husband only has surgery on one eye. He only needs one artificial lens. After the EOB from Aetna were provided, we know our claim has been processed, and we have overpaid more than $3000 to the doc office. So, I have contacted Dr Josephson’s billing department @

Very difficult to talk to someone. I waited for 30 minutes for my turn then got hung up by the receptionist when he picked up. I had to call back and waited again for 25 minutes. My mom needs to reschedule and I made 4 requests for call back but never received a call back. We decided to go to another doctor. Even to cancel appointment takes 30 minutes to get through. Too much time wasted and unbelievable service!
