I can’t say enough good things about Dr. John Ellwood and his amazing team in Farmingdale - or wantagh! I’ve always had major dentist fear, but from the moment I walked in, I felt completely at ease. Everyone is so welcoming, patient, and kind. Dr. Ellwood is super gentle — I never feel any discomfort or pain, even during procedures that would normally make me nervous. He takes time to explain everything, checks in constantly to make sure you’re comfortable, and genuinely cares about his patients. The office itself feels like Disneyland for dentistry — bright, cheerful, and full of positive energy! Every staff member is always smiling and happy to be there. I have to put this out there, I always hated going to the dentist, till I started going to Ellwood Family Dental, Dr John Ellwood and Dr Jimmy are absolutely superb, they both are painless and explain everything in detail, the stay from the front desk to dental assistance are so comforting and welcoming. I just love my experiences with them every time I go. I wish I could give more of a 5 star rating cause they ALL deserve a million times over.

Dr. Ellwood and the Wantagh staff. CLASS ACT. Every employee from the front desk to Dr Ellwood himself is spectacular. Patient, kind and professional. Dr. Ellwood did my veneers and I get compliments on my teeth daily. “You have such a great smile”. The process was somewhat long but soooo worth it! 10/10 recommend! Dr. James and the Farmingdale staff. Wow. Another amazing office full of knowledgeable, fun, personable and patient employees. Dr. James performed a very difficult root canal on me today and his professionalism and patience with me was unbelievable. The dental assistant Diane was just as good. As someone who has an extreme fear of the dentist I can honestly say my experience today was as enjoyable as the dentist can be. Dr. James deserves all the kudos.

I am special needs/ and Senior advocate.Recently I went undercover to 6 yes 6 dentists.These are very stressful times,3 months and listening to 'their plans.I finally found THE BEST OFFICE" I actually had a good time there.For my seniors,Sharon,and Josephine at the front desk,are beyond warm and friendly. You do NOT have to be intimidated to ask any question. This Review of 5 stars is for the whole staff.NO EGO FROM THE DR'S COULD YOU BELIEVE THAT!
