I’ve been seeing Dr. Joel B. Rose in South Plainfield for the past 15 years, and I truly can’t recommend him enough. He is knowledgeable, thorough, and always takes the time to answer my questions and explain everything clearly. Over the years, he’s consistently provided excellent care and made every visit comfortable and reassuring. A fun bonus is that our birthdays are only a day apart, which has always made appointments feel a little more personal. I always leave feeling confident that my vision care is in the best hands. I highly recommend Dr. Rose to anyone looking for a compassionate, skilled, and trustworthy eye doctor!!

I have been seeing Dr. Rose for 20+ years. He is an excellent optometrist! He provides a thorough examination and you know exactly the condition of your eyes before you leave. Obviously my eyes have changed through the years and Dr. Rose has guided me through each situation or issue I may have had. I certainly trust his expertise. His staff, Francie & Christina, whom I normally deal with, are always super helpful in picking out my new glasses and answering any questions I may have regarding billing. Ever since I was a kid, the staff have been very friendly. It definitely feels like a second family, as the staff has seen me grow into adulthood. Dr. Rose is always cheerful, throws in a few jokes, and enjoys talking to patients. It makes the space and the appointment feel more comfortable and inviting, rather than serious and dreadful.
