Joan C. Leonard, OTR & Peter C. Leonard PT, DPT

I am writing this review for people like me who spent hours looking for a good PT therapist. Don’t hesitate to call Peter Leonard. He is super knowledgeable, intuitive, and effective. He is also one of the nicest people you will meet. I had stubborn, debilitating plantar fasciitis (PF). Peter looked for root causes. He designed a program that relieved the PF, but also addressed other factors that were contributing to the problem such as gait, posture, and hip and leg weakness. He has given me the tools needed to prevent reoccurrence, and I am most grateful to have my life back. I hope my review will help someone else become pain free.

Joan and Peter Leonard are both fantastic! I was having issues with rehab for a broken shoulder that were not being addressed by the physical therapist that I was seeing and Joan Leonard was highly recommended by multiple people. I went to their office for a second opinion and received phenomenal care from Peter Leonard! He is outstanding in every way. Has an immense knowledge of how the body works, what it needs to recover and delivers this information with kindness, patience and a wonderful sense of caring for his patients. He helped me resolve the issue that I was having and provided individualized assistance and instruction to me that I would never had received from the PT that I was seeing at the time. Joan and Peter Leonard are both excellent practitioners, practitioners who carefully evaluate physic problems and issues and develop regimens specifically designed for you and your needs. The office has an informal atmosphere with Peter’s children occasionally present and lively conversations among Joan, Peter, office manager Chris and patients. Collingswood is fortunate to havr such an excellent PT practice.

Joan is amazing. She took the time to really understand my son and address our concerns. A skilled, thorough, and brilliant therapist. Don't hesitate and just make an appointment.

This place is a gem! Peter is super knowledgeable and does a great job at explaining the "why" behind each activity. Recovery from an injury can be a really taxing process but my experience here has been so refreshing. I am finally seeing/feeling progress and have a better grasp on how to move forward in my healing. The customer service from Joan, Chris, and Peter is awesome too.
