JMC Pharmacy

I was very upset when my local Rite-Aid closed. I worked for over five years before becoming a loyal customer. I was surprised at how great the customer service is here. They offer delivery service and that is an absolute plus. They are very patient and understanding with the elderly customer including my mother. This pharmacy is a great asset to our community.

Update: Dude, my original review is a year old. No need to reply. And no people did not leave in 15mins. I was not the only one. Original review a year old: My wait time was always more than 2 hours even though I called in before coming and was told they are ready. Employees keep saying 15mins but the most I’ve waited was 3 freaking hours. The female pharmacist is really rude. I stop coming to this place.

Very good local pharmacy. They have been serving the neighborhood for over thirty years. Jose Luis always treats me and my family very nicely. Keep up the good work guys.

First of all, I've been a customer since 1989. This pharmacy has move from streets to streets. I've never had any issue with the service up until they changed pharmacist and location (3875 Broadway). So today I had a doctors visit. He prescribed cough medicine (electronically). When I went to JMC I had to wait 35 minutes ( it's usually the wait time). After the long wait I was told they didn't have cough medicine. I am extremely disappointed. How the hell a pharmacy doesn't have that type of treatment. I am definitely changing pharmacy. By the way the female pharmacist has an attitude and she did not to do anything to help me. All she told me was that I'll have to wait 2-3 days but I discontinue the service because I need it now.

I never really like coming into this pharmacy for one reason on of the employees is always looking at me ( the guy with the long hair in a ponytail) and making feel very uncomfortable. The only reason why i would go inside is because my mother sends all her prescription there. Today i went there to pick some stuff for my mother know mind you i live in the Bronx which takes a while to get into manhattan. I got to the pharmacy 5 mins before closing and they refuse to help because i had a card that would take longer. I explain to them the situation and they just didn't care now i would understand if it was right at closing time but it wasnt and the purchase was a quick. I was very disappoint.
