When I first needed medical care, finding a place that could see me promptly was a challenge. Thankfully, I reached out to Jefferson Urgent Care, and they responded quickly to my needs. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease—friendly staff and attentive service made all the difference. The care itself was exceptional; Dr. Cathy, the doctor on duty that day, was incredibly warm, caring, and truly invested in my well-being. She even insisted on a follow-up to ensure I was healing properly. My experience at this urgent care was awful from start to finish. I came in with a deep hand wound—deep enough that they sent me for X-rays—yet they still refused to use any local anesthesia. They stitched me up with zero numbing, and I felt every single puncture. There was no medical explanation given, just a flat “we don’t numb hand wounds.” If I had known that, I would have gone anywhere else. The wound didn’t heal well, and I’ve had nerve issues in that area ever since. I can’t say exactly what caused it, but it has definitely made this whole situation even more upsetting. The suture removal was somehow worse. The doctor wasn’t even pulling on the suture—she was picking at the scab of the wound itself. I have had a hand full of interactions with this urgent care! Each time has been exceptional. Provider most importantly, listened then treated appropriately. Due to long wait times to see my GP, having an option with such qualified providers is the difference between illness and health. Highly recommend!

They are a small urgent care which kind of reminds me of a mom and pop shop. I have come here 3 separate times and everyone makes the experience enjoyable. From the front desk to then nurses to the doctors—everyone is very empathetic. I rarely sit long in the waiting room before being taken back to a room. Visited Jefferson Urgent Care today at 3:11 PM for a severe ear infection. Paid $125 upfront expecting full care. During the appointment, I was prescribed medication and I explicitly confirmed the specific CVS location for pickup twice—once during the exam and again before walking out the door. Despite these confirmations, CVS never received the prescription. I waited, checked back, and eventually called Jefferson Urgent Care at 5:54 PM. I was told by staff that they would "resubmit" the order. I ATTEMPED TO CALL BACK BEFOR 6 PM WITH NO ANSWER. Hours later, CVS still has absolutely nothing on file. ​I am currently sitting in severe pain with no medication, despite having paid for a service I did not fully receive.
