Went to see Jamie Cook initially for Wellness Exam, but at that time I was also having a sinus issue and wanting some prescription medicine for relief. Was told they could not see me for both a Wellness and sickness because insurance would not pay for both. She said I would have to choose which issue I wanted to be seen for. I have BCBS and had never heard of this, but was unsure of the insurance process. I even asked if insurance could pay for the Wellness Exam and I would pay for the sickness visit myself, out of pocket and she said no. So I opted for the sickness visit and rescheduled the Wellness exam. My visit was excellent, Dr. Cook is always so caring and patient. She don't be rushing; she take her time and listen to you trying to explain your aches and pains. I think she is a wonderful NP.
