Jacobs Smile Center

I have been a patient for several years. All personnel are friendly and helpful. I especially like seeing Anna to have my teeth cleaned. She is very knowledgeable about teeth in general. She never fails to answer my questions. Lynn, at the front desk, is great to talk with on the phone. I give high marks to Dr. Jacobs and all of his staff! See all of you again in 6 months!

Dr. Jacobs is an outstanding dentist - kind, caring, an expert in his field, and professional in every way while still being personable. His entire staff is warm, wonderful, and very talented. I have been to a handful of other dentist before, but have kept him as my dentist ever since my first appointment years ago. Though he is retiring soon and I have not met Dr. Hoffmeister, who is replacing him, I can only imagine she is outstanding too, as he seems to have taken great care in choosing someone to follow in his stead with the highest of expectations (which comes as no surprise to those who know him). Thank you, Dr. Jacobs and staff, for who you are and what you do!

Would give it a zero if I could, front staff are unprofessional in person and on phone. Worse experience ever. BE WARNED THEY WILL SAY THEY WORK WITH YOUR INSURANCE, BUT THEY DO NOT, AND YOU WILL BE BILLED DIRECTLY, THEY CLAIM TO ADVISE YOU, BUT THEY LIE. Scheduled for a cleaning, they did a bunch of extra crap never cleaned teeth and then claim "they did a service" while not the service you booked. They don't treat you with respect, respect time, or even as a decent patient. They treat you as a paycheck, They don't work with any insurance directly then proceed to call and harass about any bill. I have to say, Iam a 75 year old man that has been seeing dentist for some 65 years, in that 65 years Iam guessing that I've seen 6 or 8 different dentist, I now winter in Florida and had a tooth start to bother me down in Florida , so I looked up a local dentist to see if they could help me out, well I did find a dentist and after my appointment I had wished that I didn't, very bad experience, and I'll just leave at that. I was telling a friend back home in Sagola about my experience that I had and he said, give my dentist a call in Escanaba, he gave me Jacob's smile center phone number, I called and left a message and it wasn't an hour later that Paul Jacob called me back, I was really upset about the experience that I had with the dentist in Florida, and Paul calm me down and

They managed to squeeze me in before the weekend for a concern. This facility does not owe me anything as I just established here, but I am greatly appreciative that I did.! Excellent care team, friendly environment. They are also very kind and patient with my small child as she’s 3 and explained everything to her, I believe in the future she will look forward to coming with a great experience as well!
