He doesn't care about the well being of his patients. I was released from the hospital with a back brace due to a fractured L1. I was given 12 pain pills and told to call in if I needed more. I called in all day Friday and was told it would be filled. If there was a problem someone would call me. No calls and nothing was called in. I spoke to an on call doctor and was told I couldn't have more because I didn't have surgery. This is abuse to let a patient suffer. To lie to a patient is wrong. How can anyone trust this doctor. Now I am wondering if I did need surgery. Do not let this doctor near you.

Very poor experience with Dr. Ivan Stoev at Cleveland Clinic Florida. Consultation lasted less thab 10 min. He didn’t review my internal referral notes, MRI, or prior nerve conduction study upfront. Dismissed my history quickly, downplayed documented nerve issues, offered only an implant (which I declined), then ended the consultation by stating he can do nothing more and asked me to wait for his staff to come see me. I left shortly thereafter! Dr. Stoev lacks empathy. Very disappointing for a top institution.
