Ivan Pharmacy

OMG, Ivan is a JERK!!! The two times I have been in this store I was the only one there, the second time had interaction with this guy he just started berating me for his not making enough money off my insurance. Like it’s my fault Cigna insurance doesn't pay him enough. I think this was only a $7 prescription and I even offered to pay cash. Yet he still yelled? What is wrong with this guy?? Back to Duane Reade across the street. They are open longer hours and are certainly more pleasant. Not to mention the free delivery and the app that tells you the script is ready. I was hoping to give business to a local shop, but if they are so angry, I do see why they are going out of business. Certainly not the case with his neighbors, Mani’s or the Stationery store next door and the wine shop

This place is a dream, like we forget what to wish for in a pharmacy. The place is clean, tidy, charming and well stocked with high-quality products. The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. They are not only knowledgeable, but they explain things thoroughly and in a way that’s easy to understand. The chain pharmacies have let me down so many times. This neighborhood pharmacy gets it right and will give you good advice and make sure you’re getting the best price. I don’t live nearby, but I go out of my way to come here because I trust them so much with my prescriptions and vaccines.

I’m new to Ivan pharmacy and I was kind of nervous after I read the mixed reviews because I have Health First through Medicaid and some of the reviews painted a pretty unseemly picture of anyone on public assistance. Well boy am I glad I went anyway! Ivan is incredible. I don’t usually write reviews but my mother owned a small business (before the internet could ruin someone’s reputation) and I have to say, Ivan is EXTREMELY knowledgeable (on like everything), very kind, did not treat me any differently, warned me of all the side effects of the medication and what I could do to prevent them and then listened while I told him about all my other meds to which he happily explained in detail exactly what they were doing for me, what I should avoid and what not to worry about (I’m a worrier-wh
