I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Inwood Dental. This is now the third negative experience my family has had with this office, and unfortunately, nothing seems to improve. On our most recent visit, the weather conditions were terrible and parking in the area was extremely limited. Despite doing our best to get there, my children arrived 20 minutes late. We explained the circumstances and the hardships we faced, hoping for some understanding or flexibility. Instead, we were told we had to reschedule the appointment with no consideration given to the situation. What made the experience even worse was the receptionist’s attitude. She was very rude, dismissive, and completely lacking empathy. There was no effort to accommodate us or even communicate professionally. Given that

I was told over the phone that my dental insurance was accepted, and although the office website stated that the insurance was accepted, I was still charged full price for my routine cleaning. I'm not even looking to get my money back, I just appreciate clear and open communication when it comes to prices and policy. I doubt if I'll be back in the future.

I have been going to this dentist for about two years now and yesterday I had a follow up appointment and it was such a disappointing visit. It all started with the girl in the front desk who was rude for sending me to sit down without even knowing who I was and without letting me finish what I was asking her. Then, I expressed my concerns to Dr. Platt and his only worry what to tell me I need a root canal. I asked if there is any treatment I could be doing in the meantime than getting a root canal worth more than 3,000 (money I do not have) and his response was very dismissive. I am not going back to this doctor again.

HORRIBLE !!! DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE !!! THE DENTIST IS EXTREMELY RUDE. OVER THE PHONE I QAS TOLD THAT THEY DID THE PROCEDURE THAT I WANTED AND WHEN I GOT THERE HE SAID NO. Then he started doing a cleanup and and to stop him because he was hurting my gums. He did not do the clean up or the procedure I went for and told me because I sat on his chair and agreed to see him I was charged the full price and he was so RUDE to me it was a horrible experience. I got so scared when he wasn’t actually looking at my mouth to clean it he was using some 1980 bifocals it was just the absolute worst !!

I usually don’t write reviews but this dentist office is extremely unethical. I called to schedule an appointment for my daughter. I asked if they were in network with my insurance, which they said yes but I would be charged about $2000 for a root canal and about $200 for xrays because I had already went for my annual check up and my insurance did not cover any other visits, this sounded ridiculous to me so I called my insurance to verify and I was told that the information the receptionist gave me was wrong because I have set billing prices and my insurance does in fact cover most of the root canal and my only out of pocket charge would be $150 (root canal) and $30 for the X-rays which is a really big difference from what the receptionist said. I am sure that they do this to other people
