Insight Speech and Swallowing Therapy

Over the past three years of caring for my client, who is now 82 and living with both Alzheimer's Disease and Parkinson's Disease, I began to notice early signs of swallowing difficulty. Kayleigh's incredible speech therapy skills and knowledge along with her enthusiasm and talent for engaging with people with limited communication make her the perfect fit for our family. She is always cheerful and answers any questions we may have while offering invaluable guidance that helps us foster communication skills with our nonverbal family member. The office is nicely laid out and inviting. All of the staff are inviting and accommodating.

It is never too late for therapy. After a 2021 stroke, 2022 heavy therapy and "graduation ", we decided to try therapy again in 2025. Kate gave us aids to improve memory. Chore assignments , giving my husband a better self worth. Through this therapy, I learned as care giver, I was not allowing my husband the chance to improve because I was "doing everything " Even though my husband is the patient, we both benefited from Kate's caring guidance. It's a slow journey but, Kate has taken us out of the everyday rut and given us back a positive outlook.
