Inova Retail Pharmacy - Fair Oaks (Dept of Fairfax Hospital)

I recently changed primary care doctors and had to get an existing prescription refilled. As the name suggests of course, this pharmacy sits inside a hospital (first floor walking a minute from the lobby) but conveniently located a building away from my new primary care doctor. No line at all as one might expect. The staff were personable and efficient with their service. I appreciate their honoring what I expect as a standard protocol for only the pharmacist knowing what medication was filled and not the person processing my payment. Payment was processed quickly through my insurance so seamlessly I did not realize it was done (the price confirmed how it processed against my insurance). Excellent customer service!!! Brian always goes above and beyond to help refill my prescriptions and if ever there's an issue with my insurance, he always contacts the insurance company directly to fix any errors. I truly appreciate all of his hard work. I highly recommend them!

My experience has been positive with them. Relatively fast at filling prescriptions.

Poor Customer Service. Called to find out if a particular medication was in stock. The lady who answered said "let me check" and hung up on me. Called back and I was promptly hung up on. The entire staff needs to be retrained.

The place is really small for a big truck
