Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care

I was a walk in at Urgent Care. The staff was very pleasant. Every step was fast and efficient. I was asked to wear a face mask and I was very pleased with that due to patients coming in and out with sicknesses. It didn’t take long to be brought to the back and examined by the nurse. The nurse performed several test based on what I came in their for. A few minutes later the doctor came in to examine me and gave test results. I was recommended to this Urgent Care by my daughter; Charlyn Miller. Awesome Urgent Care to go to.

This review is specifically about Samara Rahman, PA. I went to her for an infection and completed the recommended culture test. The culture report clearly indicated that the bacteria was resistant to a specific antibiotic. Despite this documented evidence, she prescribed that exact medication — the one the report explicitly showed would not work. When I tried to call back to address this serious concern, my calls were avoided and I received no proper follow-up. Prescribing an antibiotic that the culture report clearly marks as resistant is not a minor oversight — it reflects a lack of attention to critical lab results and patient safety. I had a lovely experience here. The facility was clean and the staff were competent and kind. Another Inova-GoHealth (on Lee Jackson Hwy) is 5 minutes from my home but I will happily drive 20 minutes out of my way to be seen at this location instead. It’s wild how friendliness improves your experience, whether you’re in pain or not!

No one wants to go to urgent care but if you must, this is a good one. I’ve been twice now and both times I’ve had a great experience with the nurses and providers. They take their time with you and are very kind. You can schedule ahead online which is great, so they know you are coming. This helps limit your wait time which is always a plus. I’ll continue to go back to this urgent care, but I do hope I don’t need to anytime soon 😉 As a bonus, it’s right next to Call Your Mother so you can grab a delicious bagel on your way home.

Maybe it was because l was the first patient there, l had no wait time. The staff were all very pleasant and professional and the doctor was kind, caring and knowledgeable. My experience was so good that l wish l could switch from my primary care physician's family medicine practice to Inova Gohealth Urgent Care for all of my health needs. That's how good they were.
