From the moment you walk in, you almost feel disoriented—in the best way. It doesn’t feel like a hospital at all, but more like a high-quality hotel. The environment is quiet, spotless, and welcoming, without the tension and heaviness people often associate with medical spaces. In such a setting, patients seem to feel less pain, and families find themselves calmer, even uplifted, with a reassuring sense of peace. One of the biggest surprises was the dining area. 09/11 My wife was bitten by a copperhead snake and was taken to the ER at Inova Fairfax. The ER team and ward staff provided excellent care. The doctor took special care with her case, as this isn’t common, and made sure she had serious follow-up and observation. We felt very well taken care of throughout the entire process.

One of the best hospital taking care at the highest level. I had an outstanding experience at Inova Hospital Fairfax for 5 months. From the moment I arrived, the staff was professional, compassionate, and attentive. The nurses and doctors took the time to listen carefully, explain everything clearly, and make sure I felt comfortable and well cared for throughout my visit. The facility was clean, well organized, and efficiently run, which helped reduce stress during what could have been a difficult time. I was especially impressed by the teamwork and genuine kindness shown by everyone I encountered. Inova Hospital Fairfax truly sets a high standard for patient care. I am very grateful for the excellent service and would highly recommend this hospital to anyone in need of medical care.

Worst care ever experienced at hospital- my disappointment regarding our experience on the Women’s 4th Floor Surgery Center, specifically with a staff member identified as “Sarah,” whose title I was told is secretary. And very harshly told she’s not a nurse when I mentioned it to charge nurse- so weird how rude she was as well. Anyway- On two separate phone calls (call button), she answered in a clearly annoyed tone, responding simply with “yes” rather than offering a professional or courteous greeting. More concerning, she hung up on the patient during a second call regarding a persistent loud beeping noise in the room. During check-in, she was similarly dismissive and rude. Inova Fairfax is the finest medical facility I have ever experienced. The doctors on my team are well beyond exceptional. My care is challenging and requires incredible coordination between these specialized doctors. They are always knowable of the latest medical advancements, optimize technology for the betterment of their patients, and yet remain focused on my individual care. They are responsive and always approachable even outside of normal hours. I want to commend Doctors Aryal, Dave, Psotka, and Singh for their professionalism and commitment to excellence.
