Inova Fair Oaks Hospital

My wife just had our first baby delivered here on Wednesday. Incredibly wonderful and amazing experience!!! All people are so kind and patient (including the receptionist on the first floor). The whole procedure (arrive -> check in -> initial diagnose and check cervix -> labor -> stay for two nights) is so smooth. We both are very satisfied, and my wife started to reconsider to have a second child :) Special thanks to our delivery nurse Katherine! What a nice woman (can't say enough good words to her)! She was kidding that she wanted to be our nurse again because my wife pushed our baby out very quickly (in 10 minutes) and said my wife was born to have a child (lol!), and we definitely want her to be our nurse again if we were to have a second child.

I delivered my twins at Inova Fair Oaks and it was the best experience! Every single person I interacted with was kind, knowledgeable, and very reassuring. My entire delivery team and the NICU nurses / Dr. Silk were truly amazing. And, of course, my OB was incredible. Every single nurse I had felt like family. They were all so kind, fun, and attentive. I felt so at peace in the hospital and knew that my boys were in amazing hands. I cannot recommend this place enough! Thank you to the L&D staff for making my experience so safe and magical. I hope you know that I am always thinking of you and forever thankful to you.

I had an emergency gallbladder removal here yesterday and I must say that this hospital was amazing. I got there at 5:47am. By 6:30, I already had all the labs and scans. Every person I came in contact with told me to feel better, offered me a warm blanket and a warm smile. My nurse, Lexi, was the sweetest person I've ever met. She took care of me like I was her only patient. I wish I could remember all the names of the staff because they all deserve credit for how extraordinary they were. It's amazing how a warm hospitable experience makes you feel better before the medicine and surgery.

This hospital is fabulous. The entire staff from the doctors to the cleaning crew are all on the same mission: take good care of the patient. And they do. You wouldn't normally think of an abdominal surgery experience as being pleasant, but at Fair Oaks I can tell you they made it as close to pleasant as you could get. You can tell that the commitment to great care is infused in the culture there and I can't say enough good things about them. Thank you all for taking such good care of me.

I had an emergency eye surgery on Christmas Eve. I never leave reviews, but I felt the staff at Fair Oaks deserved it. The process from the time I checked in to discharge was so smooth and efficient. I am shocked how great of an experience I had because I barely had to wait for anything. The nurses and Dr. Bavinger were very professional, comforting, and helpful. I would definitely recommend at least for surgery procedures. I’m on my way to regaining my eye sight and it is all thanks to the great staff at Fair Oaks!
