Inova Cares for Children - Falls Church

We went to their sister location because we got referred there from the ER for my daughter. They had all the information there and scheduled my daughter for a follow up, but the follow up happened to be at this location. We were t the happiest they sent us way further away for some reason. Then we get there. Nd they turn us away because we didn’t bring my daughters birth cert.

This visit was unsatisfactory. After the visit when I was directed to do lab work and go check out. The receptionist who was doing check outs was very nice and handed me my after visit summary. I told the receptionist, my daughter needed lab work done, she is 15 months and cannot walk yet. She directed me to the 1st floor, to have my daughter's blood drawn. I carried my daughter who was strapped in her car seat in one hand, my coat, 2 blankets (because the weather was below freezing or freezing) in the other hand, and had a diaper bag strapped behind my back. I head to the 1st floor to the lab check-in. There were 3 receptionists, 2 behind the counter, 1 slouched over the counter and what I percieved as collegues talking which is normal, however they seemed annoyed and startled when arriv

Waited inside the room for one hour to visit the doctor and also the clinic is too dirty and old and very rude staff.

I've had nothing short of a great experience when visiting this office. The front desk people are really helpful except for an older lady who seems like she isn't enjoying her job. The doctors are extremely professional and answer all my questions (i'm a first time mom so I have plenty). I always show up at least 5 minutes early and they see my son within 10 minutes of my arrival. I just wish they hired more staff to answer phones. Update: they need more competent staff. They don’t want to see sick kids, they never pickup the phones and when you’re there, 80% of the staff is on their phones while the clinic phone is ringing non-stop. They suggest to do everything through my chart but they need to understand not everyone is tech savvy and someone people are illiterate. They need new front

I am extremely disappointed with the Inova Care Clinic at this location. The facility is disgusting, and the level of care provided is severely lacking. The doctors seem inexperienced and uninformed. This is my fourth visit where I’ve had to take my child to the emergency room after being dismissed from this clinic. This pattern of inadequate care and poor communication is unacceptable. I sincerely hope this clinic is reviewed and possibly closed, as it fails to provide even basic medical assistance.
