NO NEED TO TRAVEL OUT OF STATE! I was diagnosed in Idaho falls, ID with a 6 cm hiatial hernia after experiencing severe GERD, bleeding and the inability to eat most things. After a realm of testing it was concluded that 1/2 my stomach was up in my chest. I was reffered to the hernia surgeons in Idaho falls. However come to find out they could not perform a surgery on one that large and were going to refer me to the University of Utah.
