iCare Urgent Care

Ten out of ten recommend iCare Urgent Care in Ebensburg. I always have the best experience despite having to seek medical care. Everyone from the front office staff to the doctor treat you with kindness, respect, and compassion. The front office girls are so nice and give excellent customer service. Last time I was there Sarah took my vitals and she went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. She’s always very kind and personable. The doctor was so nice and made me feel like my concerns were all being addressed. Overall a wonderful experience!

I’ll give 2 stars just for the fact that the front desk and the lady that did my vitals were great. Went to get checked for a sinus infection (I get them at least 2 times a year, I know the symptoms). The PA proceeded to do a flu test and when it came back negative, she then sent me on my way and told me to buy otc medications. She just said it was another virus that needed to run its course and should be gone within 7-10 days, but to return if it doesn’t get better. When I had told her that I was already taking an otc medication for 4-5 days and it was just getting worse, she ignored me and told me where I can leave and exit the building. Won’t be returning there, it’s a waste of time.

Always go to the ebensburg location for things I need outside of my PCP’s hours, and if you get lucky enough to have Sarah helping you out along the way then you’ve hit the jackpot! She’s always so kind when I’m there and makes sure to take care of everything in an efficient manner. I know it’s hard to stay positive in the healthcare field, so you can tell she’s putting in the extra effort to make her patients comfortable!

I only gave 2 stars because the doctor who saw me was wonderful and very thorough and took the time to explain things and did an exam! However the girls at the front desk were very unprofessional and very rude!! Sarah was particularly rude. Sarah who checked me in was very Kurt and short with me and she was the same one to take me back to a room and get my vitals… again she was very curt and very rude and she was whispering to the other girl at the front desk when we checked in. Puts me in mind if Highschool girl mentality!! This girl has a lot to learn about being compassionate and professional! I was not impressed with the front desk staff at all!! Beware of the Sarah at the front desk check in!

If I could give them a 0 I would! I have had to go here a few times and every time I do I regret it, they are the rudest people I have ever met! They look down on everyone who walks in and seem to hate their jobs! I would recommend any where but here and would never go back! They find any reason to refuse to treat you so they don’t have to work!!
