I-30 Animal Emergency

Two stars because they are available when you need them most, and for that I am grateful. The front staff was kind and welcoming, and the doctor I spoke with at the end of the visit was pleasant and informative. However, I do want to share a couple of things I feel are worth noting. Before my dog was even examined, a down payment is required which made it clear early on where the priorities were. Then during intake, after three days of no sleep trying to keep my dog alive, I was asked about his vaccination status. I didn't properly explain he has had his rabies shot but was due for a booster, and in my exhausted state I said no. I was immediately told very coldly that if he bit anyone on staff, they would remove his head and send it to Dallas for testing. Then, almost as an afterthought,

After my dog was bit by a copperhead on Saturday when our normal vet is closed we found this emergency hospital. The staff was kind and knowledgeable and I was at peace with their care of my fur baby. They kept her there for a few hours to watch over her as they began treatment. So grateful to them and highly recommended this place for your pets emergency care.

It’s always scary when your dog need to see a vet. Everyone here was so nice and so helpful. They did not rush and they took their time to figure out what the best thing to do is. They truly care for pets and will work with you on budget to see what will work best. This is the best thing to happen to our area. We love 30 mins away and would bring our baby here in a heart beat.

If you’re looking for a vet to actually help your sweet fur baby, I would go anywhere but here… Wait until the morning to where you can get into an actual vet. We came all the way from Paris, Texas with Our six-year-old dog That had A seizure and possibly a stroke. They informed me it was either methamphetamine or marijuana, both of which we do not have and have never came in contact with much less our dogs. This was a few weeks ago. Today I took our dog to another clinic to get her checked out because she had the same catatonic episode. She had had a few weeks prior. If I-30 vet Would’ve taken a more thorough of a look at her they would’ve automatically seen She has Addison’s disease. Instead, I sat in there exam room, assuring Them we have not come in contact with any of these drugs and

I recently had an emergency situation with my horse and attempted to get help from this clinic for two days. During that time, I was repeatedly told that they were trying to find a veterinarian who could see him, and I was advised to call back at various times— which I did— but they were still unable to schedule an emergency visit. When I expressed my frustration, I felt that my concerns were not understood, and I was given information about other clinics that, based on my own calls, were not actually available at the times suggested. Overall, this experience left me feeling unsupported during a time-sensitive emergency. Based on my experience, I would not rely on this clinic for urgent or time-critical care.
