Humane Indiana Estelle Marcus Pet Clinic

I heard about Estelle Marcus through a friend. She said, they help people during hardship keep their pets. I went there with my pet this morning and was greeted with a smile. Ms Becca invited us in and after hearing my story, everything I hoped and prayed for was answered. My puppy received food, nails clipped, a more durable chain and a harness so he would stop jerking me. I was educated in teaching how to get my Huey to walk by my side and was told to come back soon to meet Hueys other needs. Best part of the trip if Huey could talk would be a plater of peanut butter he loved and his big red pull toy!!!! I cried because, my dogs needs were met with love❤️

Don’t go. Just don’t go. We moved to the far south suburbs several months ago … we already have 2 great vets … 1 is now over an hour away cuz of moving and the other is 2 hours away at my daughter’s school. Both are wonderful places that Koda feels safe at … but all he needed was a rabies shot and his nails trimmed so we found the Estelle clinic much closer and very affordable. It was easy. It was super cheap because it’s the Indiana humane society … happy … made an appt. What a horrible experience! Koda was so scared showing aggression, of which not only did I tell them how scared he would be … he’s never done it as badly at the other 2 vets … and their answer to that was to put a 2nd muzzle on him and cover him with a towel scaring him even more. I brought my kitten in to be neutered and he was given double the dose of anesthesia. I was then charged more money (not a substantial amount) for a medication that he was given for nausea, which was undoubtedly because of the double dose of anesthesia. The guy at the front desk Matt was rude and unprofessional. He was acting like we were inconveniencing him for wanting to get the ecollar (that I prepaid for), rabies proof and change we were owed. He helped others after he took our money instead of just getting our change and allowing us to get our kitten home and comfortable . We arrived at 3:30 like told and didn’t leave until 4:15. I would not recommend this establishment after this experience.

They took very good care of my Gus. He went in for a neuter and they treated him very kindly. The staff there are very personable and I will definitely be back to bring my others.

Staff is very efficient, and very kind. They give a human touch to the name Humane Indiana Estelle Marcus clinic. Joe, Jeanne and "Chessie" ♥️. p.s. We miss the free neck cones that prevent bttiing however.
