The entire HoPT staff are incredible at what they do, and I am really glad to have stumbled into this practice. I was a college athletes and ended my career with a host of injury experience, including three shoulder surgeries and years of experience with pt. I started going to HoPT because I wanted to get more of my life back and was willing to give pt another try. I’ve been seeing Dr. Alberto for coming up on a year, and can honestly say this is the first time that I feel completely listened to, understood, and hopeful of getting stronger and more capable. The method and intention behind pt here is so thoughtful and truly aimed at getting me physically capable to take on my life again in all the ways I want to. I cannot recommend this practice or its staff, especially Dr. Alberto, enough.

I chose this place because of its location to my apartment and boy did I luck out. Dr Shannon has been working with me to rebuild my strength and mobility after my rotator cuff surgery. Shannon is amazing. Very knowledgeable about my injury and personalized a program to help my recovery. She took the time to send me a home work out plan with videos and step by step instructions. I have been to physical therapy several times before in my lifetime; Dr Shannon is by far the best I have had. She is very skilled at combining her charming personality along with her extensive knowledge as a Dr of Physical therapy in a way that is engaging and makes you want to follow her program. I highly recommend The House of Physical Therapy and Dr Shannon for a successful outcome.

The office is super friendly and easy to deal with. The PT I worked with, Megan Edwards, is wonderful. She is extremely knowledgeable and encouraging—a rare combination in my experience. While reviewing my home program, talking about motivation, trying out new exercises, or getting hands-on work, I was always energized by and grateful for her expertise and sunny demeanor.

Super grateful for Dr. Alberto - he's outstanding, and I'm now running faster and farther than ever with no recurring injuries. 100% worth it, so much better than Spear, and HOPT is very well-run and easy to work with. I tried in-network Spear and was disillusioned - the care I got was essentially "you're just like every other tall man who complains of back pain, here are 2 workouts you could have Googled." My wife convinced me to try HOPT, and I could not have made a better decision. Alberto is very non-judgmental, and takes the time to understand every part of your injury/pain history. I now have a much richer understanding of my own imbalances and weaknesses that I expected going in, with a general complaint of recurring back pain and problems running longer distances. Now, in my tra

I recommend anybody who needs physical therapy to come here. Not only is the staff knowledgeable, they are kind, funny, and educational. Shannon has worked wonders for me. I used to feel sharp back pain after just 5 minutes of walking; now after about two months of coming here, not only does my back feel significantly better (and stronger), but I’m now equipped with knowledge on how to continuously strengthen specific muscles to continue alleviating my pain. Shannon helped me set up workout routines, stretching routines, and she’s answered so many of my questions to ensure the success of my recovery/strengthening process. Also, great location and good coffee nearby.
