Hopkinton Audiology

I met Darcy yesterday for a hearing evaluation which resulted in her explaining the results. Based on an experience I had several years ago guiding my father through this process with a different audiologist, I was expecting heavy pressure to sign a sales order. We agreed that my currently mild hearing deficit was not critical and that we could monitor it over the next year or two before acquiring any hearing aids.

Darcy was wonderful, she made it very easy to pick the right unit, and then make the adjustments customized to my hearing (or lack of).

Darcy is amazing!! I previously bought my hearing aides at Hearing Life in Milford, but was not impressed with their expertise or service over time, they eventually tried to scam me into signing up for a bogus warranty program, beware!!. I've been wearing the same hearing aides for over 5 years. First Darcy checked my hearing (it was actually fun), then took about 30 minutes to explain everything so that I could understand, for the first time, exactly what my hearing issues are, and how to resolve them. She is extremely knowledgeable and very easy to talk with, funny too!! I've totally hated the phone app that goes with my Oticon hearing aides, always took about two minutes to connect and set up. Darcy totally eliminated the need for the app, I just power them on, and they are ready in 5 s

After exploring many practices for my husband who is in need of a hearing aide; we were lucky enough to find Darcy. Her background in speech language pathology helped in diagnosing and finding the correct hearing aide for my husband’s specific hearing loss. You will not be disappointed! I am a big advocate for getting hearing aids when needed. Not only will you hear more clearly, but for me the anxiety and fatigue that went along with struggling to hear dissipated. I have been to a number of audiologists but my experience with Hopkinton Audiology has been by far the best. First, it is a stress-free environment where Darcy is simply trying to improve your life; there is no hard sell. Darcy is knowledgeable about hearing challenges, the products and how current technology works and is wonderful and patient about educating you.
