Hopewell Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Dr. Avilla was very respectful of my nervousness and treated me kindly. I had laughing gas with my extraction and was worried because the tooth had been hurting me a lot. She got it out quickly without pain.

I have had great experiences with both Doctors Chung and Avila. They are both highly skilled and both kind and professional. Both myself and my oldest son have been to this office.

I'm not sure of the negative reviews but this is not what I experienced with them. I went in for a consult to remove my wisdom teeth but I had one really bad one. He said if I wanted to have it removed today he can do that and would only take around 5 minutes. Another surgeon I had went to prior to him wouldn't answer how long the operation would take, and after reviewing a estimate the other dentist put down that it would take 45 minutes!! He made me feel super comfortable and no pain at all during the surgery. I will go back to him and his team again since I feel confident with him and his team!

Dr. Chung was recommended to me by my dentist at Billings Dental. I was very nervous to have an implant. I had the procedure last March. He was extremely thorough and gentle, and all went well. He takes extra precautions to make sure all goes well for the patient. I was so glad I went to him!

Dr. Chung is one of the best surgeons I have been to in the Mid-Hudson Valley area. He is kind, compassionate, and more than willing to answer all of your questions. Dr. Chung is a very rare find in this area. I can only hope that there are more like him. He is truly the best. 102523... I take it back. He went ballistic on me during COVID. I had a precancerous lesion on my tongue and ended up at Sloan Memorial Hospital for surgery. Thank goodness for oncologist.
