Hopewell Animal Hospital

My boyfriend and I recently adopted 2 rescue dogs…absolutely wonderful. He lives in Cold Spring and we needed a good veterinarian to give “the seal of approval” (full check ups) for our dogs. The staff was not only professional but compassionate and very caring. Thank you to all !!

Hopewell Animal Hospital is an incredible place. The entire staff are so sweet, kind and compassionate with our animals and concerned families. I had to put my 12 year old meow down to rest and as imagined, it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. They were so genuine, so sweet and understanding. They sent me a card signed by everyone there, with my Duncan’s pawprints. I’m so happy I chose them to be my place and I will take my other little guy, Jax to be cared for, with them. I thank you, Dr. Ruby and everyone at Hopewell Animal Hospital! You are amazing people! ❤️

From the moment I called to make an appointment it’s been a great experience! The person who scheduled me on the phone was friendly and didn’t seem like a robot or like I was ruining her day just for calling. They had an actual personality, which was really nice. When we came for the appointment I was very happy to see the Vet and the techs try to truly understand, assess, and help address the issues my dog has. The quick follow up and response time from the Vet is truly amazing as well! 10/10 would recommend!

Dr. Tierney is beyond an amazing veterinarian. She always treats our pets with as much love as she would give her own pets. I just had to put my cat down in December, who I’ve had since she was 6 months old, and Dr. Tierney and the staff were absolutely amazing. They not only cared for our girl, but also helped heal our hearts by being so kind and loving.

We went to Hopewell because we needed a USDA-accredited vet to verify our dog’s microchip in the process of an international relocation. While the vet was very nice to deal with, we had problem after problem and ended up having to redo expensive tests multiple times due to “system errors”. The whole process cost us thousands of dollars more than it should have and involved multiple additional visits. Now, several months out we find out the vet did not enter the data into the system so the entire process was pointless. This is particularly frustrating as another vet was able and willing to do this step of the process and I had multiple conversations with the vet about this step, as did my husband. I just cannot understand how he failed to complete this step, as it was the entire point of ou
